MYLEE GRACE

Sydney born, Northern Rivers based, MYLEE GRACE’s solo project has been described as ‘music that makes you feel like you’re on holidays with friends’. 

Sunshine warm and woolly, beatdown heartache, gutter-street, all at the same time. A sound that triumphs over the ordinary. 

Joy and melancholy are her playthings as she moves between meaning and mayhem, poetry and pandemonium, life learnings and shed skins. Grace’s troupe are her revolving musical friends and family, with whom she has defined the sound of Alt-country tinged, coastal style modern folk. To enter their world is to “feel” the music at full force. 

Mylee Grace is excited to explore the city in her first ever Melbourne residency this April. This small run of shows will bring a welcome collaboration between Melbourne’s Liam “Snowy“ Halliwell, Sophie Ozard and Dusty Anastassiou.

Off the back of her debut solo album, Whiplash In The Moshpit, Grace and her revolving band have played at Splendour In The Grass, Nine Lives Festival, Boogie Festival and supported the likes of Steve Gunn and Jen Cloher.
